What's this on the roof?

This is the first time that I blog a photo from flickr!
I have chosen this one because I find it fascinating. The sky clouds add to the magic of the enormous sculpture. I see they called them chimneys but I think they are just the top of the stairs in Casa Milà
(La Pedrera). I imagine that the woman on the right is playing a sad song with a violin while the 'white monster? listens to it as he defends its territory.
